Webinar Will Guide Employers through Steps to Hire People with Disabilities
PIERRE, S.D. – The Department of Labor and Regulation (DLR), Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) and South Dakota Retailers Association (SDRA) are providing a webinar Tuesday, July 19 at 10 a.m. (CDT).
The program will provide basic information on how employers can begin hiring people with disabilities, including what they can and can’t ask prospective employees and what they need to know about providing accommodations. Participants will also learn about free resources to help employers with job training, job coaching and evaluating whether their facility is accessible to employees with disabilities.
